    Cool

    Greetings!

I have recently completed a 90 second short film that was shot on DV (Sony TRV900) and edited on an iMac using Final Cut Pro.

The film is packed with effects and is about a man seeing his life flash before his eyes as a bullet hurtles toward him. All the CGI was created in InfiniD and compositing was done in after effects and spot effects created in PhotoShop.

You can download the film on the website at www.mashmedia.ltd.uk/357 and any input about the film is welcomed.

    Cheers,

    Hello

This is great, It does look really nice, and its well edited, with a nice feel in the build up and great timing (I think the longest moment is the hold on the man with the gun as he takes it out - which is perfect) only the story left me thinking, why? and a bit deflated. Its not much of a life he had is it? only 2 or 3 moments. Not 'why?' as in why was this fella shot, rather what was the point. Someones life flashing before their eyes is the biggest thing ever! Its a big deal and this has loads of promise, only it was disapointing.
Other than that the sound is great, and the timing excellent. Just the story is a bit of an under-achievement....

    Well you did ask.... :-)

one other thing (god I hate being so picky) is that it looks like he is going to be hit in the head, but he isnt, he's hit in the chest or something. Its a tiny thing, but it jarrs against the rest of the images, cos they look really nice, especially the way you matched the zoom with the movement of the bullet.
